Vampire Wars Calculator V1.24

by jerseyworth on Tue Dec 08, 2009 9:11 am

I have updated the Vampire Wars Calculator!

I have added the ability Veil of Darkness.

I have corrected the other abilities that would not send the information to the InventoryTaableAttack and Defense in order to send the information to the my clan page.

As far as I can tell everything works perfectly!

A big thank you goes to Craig Goley the original author of the "Mafia Wars Calculator" from which this conversion was made, most of the formula's in the spreadsheet were his ideas and saved me a lot of time and effort.

HOW TO USE THE Vampire WARS CALCULATOR
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
1) The first thing you'll want to do is unzip the spreadsheet file, and save it to your computer. Be sure to retain the original file name, so that you can distinguish new updates from older versions. Also, be sure that you have downloaded the correct version for the spreadsheet application you use.

2) If you log in to your Facebook account and play Vampire Wars on different computers or from different locations (e.g., the library, at home, a coffee shop, school, etc.), an easy way to keep VampireWar-Calc with you is to put it on a Flash stick/drive. This way, you will always have your stats with you, no matter where you log in from. (Remember: VampireWar-Calc requires a spreadsheet application such as OpenOffice, Microsoft Excel, or iWork (Numbers) to read and access VampireWar-Calc. If the computer you are working on does not have one of these applications, you will not be able to access/open the VampireWar-Calc tool.)

3) When you open the spreadsheet you may be prompted to enable macro's (Excel 2003), or Security alert saying "some active content has been disabled" (Excel 2007), you must enable this to ensure full functionality of the calculator. If you find that you can't tick the Ability Mastery checkboxes it may be due to macro's/active content not being enabled.

All version from V1.14 onwards now have a Digital Signature signed by Ray Smith embedded, when you open the calculator click the box that says "Trust all documents from this publisher (Excel 2007)" or "always trust macros from this publisher (Excel 2003)" and you won't need to enable macro's every time you open the Calculator.
